Bio

Gskee (G-Skee) grew up surrounded by the sounds of the streets and the creative energy of Chicago. Music comes naturally to Gskee as an aspiring Hip Hop Artist. He has performed in an array of venues around the city of Chicago such as The Shrine, The Abbey Pub, and Adrianna's... (just to name a few) as well as several cities around the U.S... 

He graduated from the Illinois Center for broadcasting (2008) where he first ventured into radio. His interest turned into a passion and there he mastered the different components of radio from production, to programming, and pursued his dream of being a radio personality.

Gskee landed his beginning in radio working on the Street Team for Chicago's WPWX Power 92 and WSRB Soul 106.  His big break came in August of 2012 where he first cracked the mic on Rockford's WYRB Power 106.3! He started out filling in for personalities and with much patience and determination he gained his own show on Saturdays from 3p- 7pm & Sunday 12pm-4pm in Rockford. Now, he is a Full-Time Midday Personality 9a-2p on the same station that gave him a shot (WYRB Power 106.3). After a few years of being on-air in Rockford, he has gained a 2nd on-air host position on Sunday 7am-12pm for Chicago's Power 92.3!!

  Gskee is such a creative and innovative spirit with deep roots to music that he is constantly working with others to create their musical projects. He also finds time to reach back and help others who want to work in this industry by providing his own blueprint and helping them to create their own path. He understands that it was not easy but it is possible... through TEAMWORK...
